We facilitate file-sharing, participatory research and archiving projects, and mentorship between community organizations to broaden our knowledge about carceral tech and how to campaign against them effectively.
We build archives and databases to catalog the history, emergence, and dispersion of carceral tech. Our libraries currently feature documentation on prison tech / policing tech / border tech / and commercial surveillance tech.
We host & facilitate trainings for community organizers who are working to incorporate tech-facing tactics and campaigns into their police / prison / immigration enforcement abolition work.
We've built out and are actively expanding a rapid-response system for community organizers to access time-sensitive research support about contracts, private-public partnerships, grants, and newly-deployed carceral tech that put their communities at risk.
